I Am Not Hating Anyone

August 5th, 2012 . by Cary

I have been accused (by family members, no less!) of being a hateful man. I have been accused of not being tolerant of those who think differently than I do. I have been accused of HATING certain religious belief systems, and MAKING UP phrases such as “The Homosexual Agenda”.

To borrow a phrase, “guilty as charged”. Well, guilty of being truthful, which appears to be hate to certain people, especially those who allow their “feelings” to overrule their “thinkings”.

I am tolerant, of those who are trying to live correctly. I am NOT tolerant of those who try to force their ideologies on me or my family – and by “ideologies” I mean trying to convince me that homosexuality is “normal” and an “accepted” part of society now. (no, they are not. they may be considered normal and acceptable by liberal left leaning peoples, but not by true Christians.) And intolerant? How about when Christians decide not to support a business, and are called “racist” for doing so? How about when Christians decide to show their SUPPORT for a business and are called “racist” for doing so? Who is intolerant?

As far as the “Homosexual Agenda” – tell me you haven’t noticed that every prime-time show now has a “gay” character – or a “gay couple” – and the other characters pretend it is normal. Yes, the producers of those shows are trying to convince people that these types of relationships are normal and accepted. THAT is the Homosexual Agenda.

Don’t take my word for it – the mainstream media has been slanting coverage and cherry-picking stories for a while now. A man with a blog that I just found today, Lloyd Marcus, states the whole issue, even addressing the “racist” issue obliquely, in his post:

My conversation with Dad was yesterday. He called me at 9AM this morning. “Why haven’t I heard about what Christians were doing in support of Chick-fil-A?” I told Dad the reason is because the mainstream media, where he gets his news, is in the pocket of the socialists/progressives who embrace same-sex marriage. The mainstream media (CNN, ABC, CBS, and NBC) gave the phenomenon minimal coverage.

Dad was surprised to learn that all who oppose same-sex marriage are branded bigots and haters by his beloved Democratic Party and the mainstream media. Dad said he does not hate or judge anyone. However, the Bible says homosexuality is wrong. He must stand on the Word of God.

You can read the whole post here.

Now, really, you gonna call a black gentleman who happens to be a conservative Christian “racist” too?

Isn’t that kind of … I don’t know, maybe intolerant of you?

Chat ya later…

It gets pushed in your face every moment of every day, and yet the butthurt and raging starts when there is a push back. Funny, that.
We saw it with Chick-FilA with the homosexual marriage agenda and we saw it with Starbucks with the anti-gun agenda. Honestly, if “they” had not made a big deal about their boycotts “we” would not have had our buycotts.
I’m all about live and let live, but if you don’t put your dirty laundry in public we won’t have to talk about it.

Well said, Larry. Indeed, if they didn’t make such a fuss about how “out” they are, we would not be telling them to go back in.

Here’s the transformation of the Homosexual Agenda in a nut-shell:

LGBTQ’s have wanted you to transform from:

    – Tolerance

    to:

    – Acceptance

    and now to:

    – Advocacy

NOW, if you do not ADVOCATE their agenda, you are branded by the DEM/MSM and Leftists as a homophobe or worse.

I do NOT and never will ADVOCATE for the so-called “LGBTQ” arena.

    Period.

Very true, BZ. Yet, if you vocalize this very thing to a liberal or left-leaning person, they will deny the very truth and call you a hatemonger or a racist.

Because that, as you know, is the answer to all their arguments – claim the winning side to be racist, and the argument is over. I think the conservatives are getting tired of that, and the backlash will be painful.

Why do so many confuse TRUTH with hate speech?

  6. comment number 6 by: cary

Because they “FEEEEEEEEEEEL” the truth is hateful towards some people’s “truth”.

Problem is, “truth” by definition is only one set of facts that does not change according to viewpoint or circumstances, and they “feeeeeeeeel” that isn’t fair.
