The Verdict Is…

July 28th, 2006 . by Cary

Girl!

Expected to join us around the week before Christmas. This places her on or near no fewer than eight other birthdays in that time frame; odds are she’ll be sharing a birthday with someone.

We don’t have a name picked out yet. We (I) had a boy’s name picked out – I was going to name him after my father, which is a family name from way back. TMBWitW is leaning towards a particular name, but I won’t say anything until it is a firm decision.

We actually knew around 2:30 today, as you can tell it’s well past that now; TMBWitW and her Momma had to go to a baby store right away since the sex was known. Shopping, you know.

I am very excited. We are so blessed to have a child! This is gonna change everything, isn’t it?

God bless you all!

    Thank you, Mary.

Heck, I’m not disappointed. TMBWitW and I are very grateful that God has blessed us with a child. Boy, girl, both, it wouldn’t have mattered – we were planning on loving it no matter what it was.

    Thanks.

Congrats! Girl? They can be tougher and meaner than boys. Heck the longest record held at Camp Lejune’s rifle range was by a WM.

Gunz…had I been there, I would have held the longest rifle range record! 😀

I am thrilled for you Cary and the Mrs. Girls are long hair, smiles, hugs when you aren’t looking for one…and blood, guts, rocks and dirt! heehee

I love my girl. I wouldn’t trade her for the world. She is tough as nails and has pretty pink toe nail polish she wears with her camouflage flip flops! (I am not kidding either!)

I gotta tell you all, Cary and Mrs. Cary have been blessed by God, and are honoring Him in their joy!

Yesterday when my buddy called to tell me the results, he was laughing. I asked him what he was laughing about, and he told me “I am just happy!”

Cary and Mrs. Cary will truly be awesome parents, and are truly giving God all the glory!

Congratulations again you guys. BTW, I think Gawfer is a great name for any child.

    Go Navy!

This is great news – my baby is 22 years old now – and I remember with “deep feeling” the first moment I met her.

    Congratulations,

    Ted

    Congratulations Cary and Mrs!

Yep, it’s gonna change everything; hopefully only in good ways.

    Thank you, one and all.

Just reading all these notes is getting me all misty eyed. Feeling the love from you guys means a lot, especially since I’ve only talked to Gawfer on the phone, and I have no idea what the rest of you sound like, much lees look like. OK, I know what Bushy looks like.

Also, as far as names go, let’s see what this sounds like:

EbbieJo Sue Cubette Jenn Mary Kathy Cartter

… since they’re the female regulars around here… I can’t say I could call my little girl “Gunzetta” or “Bushwachetta” with a straight face – or evn after a significant libation, for that matter!

    Thanks again, you all!!
