My Weekend

July 31st, 2006 . by Cary

Very busy (as I am sure you can imagine). Between shopping for the girl, Praise and Worship rehearsal, and running around like a chicken with my head cut off, I managed to get a new floor in the baby room. And base board. In fact, the only thing left is to paint it and then the furnishing can begin. TMBWitW is thinking Sunshine Yellow.

A man’s work is never done, when it come to finishing the house. I know, I promised pictures of the new back door, so I’ll get those up. Soon. And, I’ll post florring (florring? sheesh. Flooring.) pictures. Very exciting.

Right now the front hall has stacks of stuff from the room that will be the child’s room; we need to find new places to stack our stuff. Either that or have a heck of a yard sale.

Check back soon – I promise, pictures this week!

God bless you all!

Love to be helping you brother, Construction is something I’ve always been good at. I do have a little carpentry gene in me.

That’s right I said said CONSTRUCTION and not destruction for once…LOL.

I’m sure you’re doing a great job. Inspiration always helps the job get done a little faster.

I just keep thinking about all these projects I’ve started and haven’t finished because I’ve run out of steam or something – Now I have to go back and actually start finishing them!

Gunz, I would love to have you here helping – two sets of hands always makes it go faster…

    Thanks, Jenn.

Best part is, on the sonogram, you could see the fully forming spine – so I know she won’t be a liberal!

I’ll be looking forward to pics of the new back door (I hate to call them “french doors”).

I happen to know a great drywall guy….shame he’s a few thousand miles from AZ right now.

Well, Jarhead, when that drywall guy gets in the neighborhood of Glendale, tell him to stop by. I’m sure I’ll have another batch of projects going by then…

Sage – glad that one didn’t get by you – one of my favorite lines!

Man… looks like a lot of hard work, but it will all pay off.

Yeah I can see the day she says dad “I am a liberal” your reply “can’t you just shave your head or get a piercing… something other then what you just said?” then a heart attack happens.

She’ll never say it – I’ll raise her right, and instill good solid values in her.
