I Am A Great Uncle

August 4th, 2009 . by Cary

Before, I am pretty sure I was a good uncle. Now, with the birth of my nephew‘s son, I am a Great Uncle!

Other points of interest – my oldest sister will be moving to Atlanta, most likely, with the company she works for. My niece (older sister to the nephew who is a new dad) is getting married sometime in March of 2010. My other sister, the one who called me at 0623 (I didn’t want to answer the phone – it’s never good news that early in the morning) was pretty darn bubbly while she was telling me this, and then she had to hang up – there was a bunch of cars approaching that didn’t seem to understand the concept of “buffer zone” or “safety buffer” or even “always leave yourself an out” so she needed to concentrate on their actions.

the niece getting married in March is on the left, the new mommy is on the right.

I couldn’t find a picture of the nephew. I certainly don’t have a picture of the grand nephew yet.

Chat ya later…
