Wait! Where's the pictures? They're supposed to be right here! I swear, you can't find decent help these days...

Hi There!

August 26th, 2009 . by Cary

So – you’re probably wondering where I disappeared to. And, since I do feel I owe an explanation to all two of my readers, here it is: Remember last week when I mentioned I was working on a shade modification for the game room/former horse barn? Take a gander:

Last Friday, TMBWitW got news about the results of her exam (sorry, didn’t tell you about that) and she has a polyp that needs to be removed. Like, in the next week or so. We have been scrambling getting surgery information and scheduling various items (who’s gonna watch MEG? when can we get this done? it is only done on Thursdays, should it be the Thursday of close week, or the Thursday before the church retreat? impact work, or impact church? how are we going to pay for this?) and TMBWitW has been trying to find as much info as possible on the ‘net. She gets squeamish at the sight of blood. Most of the information has been graphic illustrations of the procedure. That’s not working real well.

So – between that, the eBay thing, driving cab, and raising a two and a half year old, the blog is last on the list of priorities.

Chat ya later…

I understand completely, Fred – and in fact, I didn’t post anything about this until today (8/26), so you didn’t “miss” anything. And I am well aware of the power of Prayer, and my trust in God has never been stronger. It gets stronger and stronger everyday.

BTW – the grandkid is looking good. Very glad to hear about the daughter.

We are still waiting for all the details – there seems to be a Communications Major in charge of talking to patients who are supposed to be scheduled for surgery in the next few days. Little things, you know – like how much will this cost? Does our insurance cover any part of this? What are the ramifications of this surgery?

    Grrrrr.

I’m real close to going all 2531 on their butts…

(i just did a search for that. seems 2531 no longer exists. comparable to the “new” 0621 – Field Radio Operator. sheesh, that sure ruined a perfectly good little piece – having to explain what i meant and all …)
