Sign Of Things To Come

December 24th, 2006 . by Cary

Mary said it only gets more so – the little girl is not here yet.

I would like to thank Mrs. prying1 for getting in the spirit of the pool and setting up two entries yesterday, before she even had a blog (has she got one yet, p1?).

TMBWitW is finished with this whole “being pregnant” phase of child rearing. I’m thinking that TMBCitW is going to come out when she’s good and ready, and not a minute sooner.

So, that means more time for people to enter the pool. My theory is that the closer the time gets, the more entries I should see, right?

Thank you for stopping by, God bless you all, Wear Red on Fridays, and get in on the Baby Pool!

Hey, Luke – do me a favor, and turn on the spell check, ‘kay?

Wearing red on Friday lets the service person know that we stand behind them, and support them. It doesn’t mean we approve of the war, although most of us involved are aware of the necessity of finishing what we started.

The “broad” isn’t using the proceeds for her own benefit, the lady is using all profit to ship items of personal hygiene to those who are serving. She doesn’t see a penny in profit.

In essence, the sales benefit the fighting forces twice – by us showing support, and by physically supplying their personal needs.

Hope this answered your questions and concerns.

First, please accept my apologies, I didn’t realize I could use my dyslexia as a crutch for not doing things correctly.

Second, Sue is a sister, and her word is golden. I would trust her with anything she said; if she said the sky was brown I would believe her.

Third, thank you for spreading the word of her good work.

Fourth, if you had completely read The Wisconsin Cartters, you would know that my grandfather wrote the original, and my project over there is to recreate what he wrote. When I start adding my part to his original work, then I will correct the spelling of genealogy. patsy may want to research her etymology a bit; either is an accepted spelling, even if the former is no longer popularly used.

I certainly didn’t mean for this to become a flame war, Luke. That’s my last intention with anyone.

Howdy Cary, I hope all is going well in your neck of the woods. I won’t even respond to the individual that ignorantly insulted my sister…you seemed to handle it like a true gentleman.

Merry Christmas to you and yours, and remember that you’re in my thoughts and prayers. I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for the outcome!

Thanks Cary for your kind words. I did get a comment over on our Red Fridays blog and I actually wasted a little time on these two with responses. Oh well.

I’m patiently waiting for your daughter to arrive. Best wishes to you and TMBWitW!!
