I’m Starting To Return To The Living

July 25th, 2007 . by Cary

Jenn has invited me to call in to her Fabulous BlogRadio Show to debate with John Bootie.

Only problem I can see with “debating” John is that our positions are so similar, people may not see the difference between us.

Here’s a hint – My favored hair style is a flat top.

Anyway – it should be, at the least, an interesting conversation with another person more interested in the Country than his wallet.

Thank you for stopping by, God bless you all, Wear Red on Fridays, support Warriors for Innocence, and write in Cary Cartter for President in 2008!

Well, thank goodness and amen for your return to the living!!!

Looking forward to hearing your views tonight.

P.S. However, I always thought that a “flat top” was what the Navy called aircraft carriers. Sounds of footsteps retreating to the igloo for a nap.

Yes, a Navy flat top is an aircraft carrier.

A Marine Corps flat top is a haircut. Not as gung-ho as a high and tight, but there you have it.

    Hope you enjoyed the show!

Based on what I heard tonight, you would have my vote. Without exception I just don’t hear ANY of the candidates discussing the most important issues in a satisfactory manner, especially the war. That is where I felt that you came across the best.

A good show, sir, and I hope that should you be asked to return that you answer in the affirmative.

P.S. You have a most remarkable Campaign Manager, who came across as clear and concise…most remarkable.

The campaign manager that you heard speaking is Jason Bootie, John’s son. My “campaign manager” was sitting on my lap – my seven month old daughter, MEG.

Still in all, I hope it is me you want to vote for – although, if memory serves, aren’t you in Canada? – but even if you voted for John, you would not go wrong. If I wasn’t running, I would vote for him.

Cary…I know that it was your daughter with you…it was, it turns out, a most feeble attempt at humour.

Yes, I am in Canada. However, what you had to say is reflective of what my political beliefs are.

I guess it’s the language barrier. That’s also a teensy weensy attempt at humour.

s-i-g-h…oh, well. Yep…must be the language barrier.

Yeah, let’s blame the language barrier. Darned furriners.

Jenn has indicated that both John and I will be back on her show in the future. I hope to expand my appearances beyond Jenn and Doug of Political Pistachio, though – so keep an eye on announcements here.

And, Deborah? The humor was good, even if the reception was blocked.
