Monday Blues
October 20th, 2008 . by CaryLast night was hard – MEG had a high fever and we spent a few hours in the ER getting it under control. we are working with the ER’s temperature management prescription, and she is doing better. This, after being told she has an ear infection on Thursday, and the antibiotics kicking in on top of a flu shot…

Sounds like y’all are having a tough time. My prayers are with y’all.
The prayers are appreciated, Kate – another rough go last night, at one point we had her in the bathtub and shivering to get the temp below 103. She’s down to 99+ this morning, and we’re headed to her regular doc as soon as the clinic opens up.
Do they know what’s causing the fever? I might have missed that post when ya said.
After the follow up visit today, we have a better idea of the cause and management. The cause is two infected ears, with a viral infection thrown in. MEG had been on Amoxicillan for the singe-side infection; now the medicos have decided to ramp that up. On the positive side, the high fever seems to have broken and her temp is in the “low-grade” fever range.
Whaaaat?? Leftists NOT playing fair?? Cheating, trespassing, stealing?? You MUST be kidding!

Dang! One ear infection can put ya out, but two? Wow. Glad to hear things are getting back to normal! 🙂
I have a feeling this sign is just a sign of things to come. I noticed when I protest an Obama rally and stood up for free speech pointing out how they have tried to destroy Joe the plumber, the libs weren’t very tolerant to my first amendment rights.
Liberals, as a rule, are very tolerant – to their OWN point of view.
And they claim conservatives are closed-minded…
