I would like to thank Mrs. prying1 for getting in the spirit of the pool and setting up two entries yesterday, before she even had a blog (has she got one yet, p1?).

TMBWitW is finished with this whole “being pregnant” phase of child rearing. I’m thinking that TMBCitW is going to come out when she’s good and ready, and not a minute sooner.

So, that means more time for people to enter the pool. My theory is that the closer the time gets, the more entries I should see, right?

I have a problem. The winner of the Great Bug Wonderful Baby Pool Contest will most likely be either Jarhead John or prying1. I don’t think a two-way contest is fair. There are over 800 BlogMad credits up for grabs here, to the person who guesses the hour our daughter is born. Officially, as of yesterday morning’s (12-02-2006) ultrasound, TMBWitW is at 37 weeks.

I had a nice face-to-face conversation with Gawfer last night. He was in town on business, and we sat down in a St@rbuck$ and chatted. We, meaning TMBWitW and I; there is no baby yet. (Stubborn kid. I wonder where she gets that?) Anyway – we chatted for a while, on a variety of topics – several other bloggers’ names came up (Texas Fred and Jarhead John among others), we also chatted a bit about Disneyland – his family had a pass last year, TMBWitW and I missed going this year for the first time since we were married.

Gotta tell ya, his picture doesn’t do him justice – his smile is much bigger than that. His heart is much bigger, too – but there’s no picture to prove that.

Gawfer, it was good talking to you, bud. I am honored to be your friend, and blessed to be called your brother in Christ.
